Federal Tax Incentives
Solar Electric (PV)
Residential: 30% Federal Tax Credit capped at $2000 max (hopefully being raised to $4000)
Commercial: 30% Federal Tax Credit with no cap; Accelerated 5 year depreciation MACRS
Solar Thermal (SDHW and Space Heating)
Residential: 30% Federal Tax Credit capped at $2000 max (hopefully being raised to $4000)
Commercial: 30% Federal Tax Credit with no cap; Accelerated 5 year depreciation MACRS
Wind Turbines

$3.50 per watt up to 10kW
>10kW SREC Pilot Program (payback in the 6-9 year range)

$5.00 per watt up to 10kW
Delaware

50% of the installed cost with different maximums depending on the utility company.
Wind Turbines
50% of the installed cost with different maximums depending on the utility company.
Pennsylvania
Unfortunately there are currently no programs in place for residential renewable energy grants. Commercial Small Business Advantage Grants are usually available once a year, save 50% up to $7500. Usually opens for applications in August and closes very quickly. Call Your Senator!
